Freedom
Liberty
In slavery
In speech
In democracy
In breaking tradition
In breaking law
In our lives
Does freedom in our lives
Brings happiness to us?
Does freedom in law breaking
Cultivate seeds of love or evil?
Does liberty in all things
Cause us to abuse our authority?
Do we use freedom to send love and peace into the world?
Do we use liberty to love one another?
Does freedom protects the earth or abuse it?
What is freedom?
What is liberty?
What is this so called freedom and liberty?

Yes, sometimes too much freedom is harmful. But, like anything else, if used properly and respectfully, it is wonderful.
That’s how I feel. Thanks, Toni, for your wonderful response 🙂

freedom with the sense of social and personal responsibility is a blessing for one, i dont know if its good without one or both types of responsibility. I dont believe anyone is totally free in this world, do you?
I also don’t believe that anyone is totally free in this world though they wish too. Being given too much freedom will also bear the most consequences when people abuse it

exactly, i personally have bondings mostly tied by me, i grew up like that, my father passed away when i was child, my mother was oblivious of our existence so, i was the person responsible to my own welfare, i did my best!
I’m sorry to hear that. It must be hard for your mother and you. You are a strong person

Interesting thoughts on freedom, Yoshiko. I’m not sure I’ve seen anyone ponder that way on freedom before.
