Haunted by the past
Daunted by the future
Taunted by those who know-it-all
Can’t stand those who flaunt arrogantly
Is life full of the haunted past pains?
Do future life is daunted with fear?
Why do we are taunted by others?
Who want to be flaunted?
No wonder the world is full of hurts.

Toni Andrukaitis’ email of concern helps me to work on my writing block. Her recent post What the heck Wednesday helps me to get up again. Flipping to my writing blocks, more inspiration comes through past experiences and my fear feelings of the future. Thank you, Toni, for your concern. Wish you all have good days and thank you.
I like how you used them twice. Cool poem
Always a pleasure to read you, lady.
Thank you, Leo 🙂
Great word play, Yoshiko.
Thank you, Celestine, for your compliment
Simple truth.
Yeah. This is what I realized
Yori, this is great! You reflect a common human experience with powerful words! I read just yesterday that the past is gone, we cannot relive it, it is taking up empty space in our mental attic—we need to replace it with positive thoughts and be present in the NOW. I think St. Paul wrote about that in one of his letters to the communities–Philippines 3:13 “this is one thing I do. Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead…” I struggle with it as well—it is hard to leave the past behind me—but I have to…
Blessings, Yori!
Sorry. I’m not Yori. I am Yoshiko 🙂
fantastic, amazing wordplay zyoshiko. I feel pity for arrogant people, they are mostly very lonely in life because everyone runs away from them 😦
Just loved the poem, the way you have used those words… is super cool!
Thank you, Sharmishtha, for your compliments 🙂 Indeed that arrogant people are the most lonely people 😦

Just wonderful way of expressing. Those who are having the gift of expressing their inner self, can just tell through their words their inner thought. Thanks sharing.
