Cage me in
Lock me up
And I write more
No cage
To lock
I am guilty not to write
There are plethora of themes
To work on
To write on
But . . .
Everyone are demanding my
Attention

Upon realizing my writing time is when I feel calm and relaxed, I realized the importance of being alone. Being a mother with elderly and part time work really strangle my muse. When the house is quiet, hearing birds singing, and people to work together help to ease my mind and to write my muse. Wish you all have good days and thank you.
It’s okay,,, you’ll get there, sweet friend. This is a good poem that arose from your situation too!
Thank you, Christy 🙂
Quiet time is good, but sometimes the noise and business of life gives us inspiration for writing and poetry. It is wonderful that you write so often. Good for the soul.
Thanks, Toni 🙂 Now I begin to write more.
Beautiful poem my friend ,Thanks for sharing 🙂
Welcome, my friend 🙂
I’ve just heading to my writing cage/cave right now to write. Your poem is one I’m sure many writers can relate to.

Thanks, Wendy 🙂
All the best in your writing.
Sounds like its from the heart! ❤
Yea, Gill 🙂 It is my recent findings about myself.
Your muse must have heard, its a good piece!
Thank you 🙂 Gill

Oh I agree! 🙂
🙂 do you go through the same thing too?
Oh yes! I sit down to write and get constant interruptions from my family. I write much better when I am alone and have quiet, calm thinking space. I now regularly go on retreats! Xx
Same here. It’s like my creative outlet is blocked.
Very well-written poem! Thanks for sharing it! xx
Thanks for your kind compliment 😊 welcome
bringing up a toddler and enticing your muse to appear is a really tough job!
