As Sticky As

As sticky as a sticker
Sticky body with
Sticky hands
Sticky neck
It is
The leftover of
A dried perspiration.

As sticky as a glue
Sticking his body parts
Sticking his hands
Onto me
Onto his dad
So sticky like a glue
Such a pungent smell
Enough to faint you
With crossed eyes.

Trapped Head

Pushing head into trolley basket
Curiously
For fun
For play
But . . .
But . . .
Can’t!
Can’t
Pull out his head.
Stuck!
Head is trapped!
Head is trapped in the basket!

BANG!
Trolley falls to sideway.
Hold hard with his hands.
But . . .
Still . . .
Head is trapped!
Head is trapped in the basket!
Wail for help!
WAILING!
SHRIEKING!
Grandpa comes to his rescue.
Gradually and patiently
Pull out his head from
Trolley’s basket.
Resolving
Not to do anymore.

The above incident occurred in the morning while I was inside my bathroom. His mind is always full funny ideas out of curiosity and often got into trouble. Then he learns his lesson. With speech warning is not enough. Sometimes, I just can’t help it. At night, then my helper told me the incident.

Attempting Mouth Kissing

Two hands
Fingers of both hands
Are
Clasping
Holding tightly
Wringing
Around her neck
With his legs clasp her waist.

Attempting to
Go near her face.
Attempting to
Kiss her mouth.
Where she holds him further
Attempting to
To prevent him
To prevent his rounded lips
From kissing her mouth.

Door creaks
Door opens
Fingers loosens grip
With failed attempt
Mission fails!
Quietly learn from rebuke.
While she gasps for breathe
Speaks such a strong grasp.

Days pass,
He resolves
He answers
He wants
To have a wife.
Laughter burst out
Amused of speech.
He laughs ear to ear.

A few days ago, my son was trying to kiss the helper’s mouth by holding her neck. She told me what happened when I was in the room for a while. I understand that he was curious about kissing though normally he kisses his soft toys. But I guided him not to do mouth kissing towards anyone and even his helper.

To Scare To Brush Teeth

Looking desperately,
Searching desperately
From the Internet
For
Children pictures
Losing teeth.
Wanting
Wanting to scare
My toddler
To brush his teeth.

Saving image
Printing image
Showing image to him.
Laughingly
He wants to lose his teeth.

Only with my husband
He explains
He reasons
Nothing wrong for
Our toddler happily to lose his teeth.
Oh!
I want to faint!
Oh!
I laugh!
Laugh funnily at my stupid mistake.
A stupid mistake,
A stupid mistake
Such a stupid mistake!
To choose pictures with
Laughing children
Without teeth.

Laughing children
Without teeth
Is liken to
A cute lion to scare.
Is it scary?
My husband’s queries me.

Both of us
Laugh
And
Laugh
At my stupid mistake.

Sniff Raw Fish Ball

Grabbing a raw fish ball
Gradually, he brings his palm
To his nose to smell.
Sniff once is enough
To puke him

Like An Ostrich

Bury his face onto mattress
Like an ostrich
Burying its face into sand.
Shy
Shy to talk
To talk with
grandmother
Through
Webcam.

Bury his face into blanket
Like an ostrich
Burying its face into sand.
Fun
Fun to play
To play hide
hide and seek
With
His dad and me.

Swaying Butt

Refusing to brush his teeth;
Feet sticking to the wall;
Arms onto grandma’s bed.
Helper shouts for his dad’s help.
His dad enters grandma’s room
With a dark face
Nearing him . . .

Brooh! Brooh! Brooh!
Saliva onto his dad’s face
IMPOLITE!
Hand is going to slap!
But . . .
Swaying butt to the left
Swaying butt to the right
Repetitively
Avoid his slapping hand.
Swaying butt to the left
Swaying butt to the right
Continuously
Avoid his slapping hand again.

Stop his butt and . . .
SLAP!
Mouth turns downward
Sad . . .
Holding his tears.
He is sorry.
His dad returns to his room;
Downward mouth turns upward
Grinning!

Swiftly shower
BAM! BAM! BAM!
She opens
The bathroom door
And left swiftly.

On the toilet bowl,
He laughingly,

Shopping Toddler Again

He grabs the handle
Then he pulls up
The shopping basket.

Grabbing and throw
A pack of vegetables
Into the shopping basket.

Picking up tea pack
Dropping into the basket.
Too heavy. . .
Pick and put it back.

Grabbing an apple
Sniff at it
Drop it into the basket.
Copying me when I smell oranges.

Picking up a box of biscuit
Throws it into the basket.

Leading his dad to fish section
Wanting to buy fishes,
No fishes.
Wanting crab, but
Afraid of it.

A pack of milk
A cute cow on it
Attracts him.
Too heavy!
He grabs it and
He is going to drop
Into his trolley’s basket.
I panicked, “Need to pay first!”
His dad puts it back.

While queuing for cashier
He drops in . . .
A box of ferrero Rocher chocolate.

Why? Why?
Why does he knows . . .
It is a chocolate?
Oh! The advertisement!
