Shopping Toddler Again

He grabs the handle
Then he pulls up
The shopping basket.

Grabbing and throw
A pack of vegetables
Into the shopping basket.

Picking up tea pack
Dropping into the basket.
Too heavy. . .
Pick and put it back.

Grabbing an apple
Sniff at it
Drop it into the basket.
Copying me when I smell oranges.

Picking up a box of biscuit
Throws it into the basket.

Leading his dad to fish section
Wanting to buy fishes,
No fishes.
Wanting crab, but
Afraid of it.

A pack of milk
A cute cow on it
Attracts him.
Too heavy!
He grabs it and
He is going to drop
Into his trolley’s basket.
I panicked, “Need to pay first!”
His dad puts it back.

While queuing for cashier
He drops in . . .
A box of ferrero Rocher chocolate.

Why? Why?
Why does he knows . . .
It is a chocolate?
Oh! The advertisement!

When my husband and I brought our toddler to the supermarket where I need to buy some groceries, our toddler gave us a surprise to lead the shopping.

有恐龙 you kong long

哇!哇!
有恐龙,啊!
怕怕
哇!哇!
有恐龙,啊!
有恐龙,啊!
怕怕
怕怕

阿妈,换衣服
阿公,换衣服
姨妈,换衣服
Charlene 姐姐,换衣服
Etri 换衣服
去打恐龙
出去
去打恐龙。

Upon reaching home around 11:30pm for watching a free admission theatre play, my helper informed me about my toddler talking and composing stories about the dinosaur that he was scared when his dad brought him out and saw it. As I was drying my hair, my mum repeats the words my toddler had spoken “有恐龙,有恐龙.怕怕,怕怕. 阿妈换衣服 打恐龙, 还有 阿公, 姨妈,Charlene 姐姐, Etri 出去 打恐龙.” It sounds like a poem to me by just revising it.
