Trapped Head

Pushing head into trolley basket
Curiously
For fun
For play
But . . .
But . . .
Can’t!
Can’t
Pull out his head.
Stuck!
Head is trapped!
Head is trapped in the basket!

BANG!
Trolley falls to sideway.
Hold hard with his hands.
But . . .
Still . . .
Head is trapped!
Head is trapped in the basket!
Wail for help!
WAILING!
SHRIEKING!
Grandpa comes to his rescue.
Gradually and patiently
Pull out his head from
Trolley’s basket.
Resolving
Not to do anymore.

The above incident occurred in the morning while I was inside my bathroom. His mind is always full funny ideas out of curiosity and often got into trouble. Then he learns his lesson. With speech warning is not enough. Sometimes, I just can’t help it. At night, then my helper told me the incident.

Shopping Toddler Again

He grabs the handle
Then he pulls up
The shopping basket.

Grabbing and throw
A pack of vegetables
Into the shopping basket.

Picking up tea pack
Dropping into the basket.
Too heavy. . .
Pick and put it back.

Grabbing an apple
Sniff at it
Drop it into the basket.
Copying me when I smell oranges.

Picking up a box of biscuit
Throws it into the basket.

Leading his dad to fish section
Wanting to buy fishes,
No fishes.
Wanting crab, but
Afraid of it.

A pack of milk
A cute cow on it
Attracts him.
Too heavy!
He grabs it and
He is going to drop
Into his trolley’s basket.
I panicked, “Need to pay first!”
His dad puts it back.

While queuing for cashier
He drops in . . .
A box of ferrero Rocher chocolate.

Why? Why?
Why does he knows . . .
It is a chocolate?
Oh! The advertisement!

When my husband and I brought our toddler to the supermarket where I need to buy some groceries, our toddler gave us a surprise to lead the shopping.

Kicking

Kicking a ball into below TV rack
Kicking a ball into below tables
Kicking a ball on the floor
Kicking a ball onto the corner
Kicking and kicking continuously.
Continuing his kicking;
Kicking his orange ball.
Kicking his basketball.
Kicking two balls with two feet,
Butts pop out.

While I was playing ball with my toddler, then the above inspiration seemed poetic. It is to describe his playtime. Out of a sudden, he kicked his two balls with two legs for his first attempt.

Go Down

In the supermarket while queuing for the cashier
Hip is tossing wriggling on the trolley basket
With hands holding onto the front thin bar
Tossing head down towards left & right
To signal unbearable sitting on the trolley basket
Whining, “Go down, Go down, I want to go down”.
“Please!” “Please!” “Please!”

My toddler couldn’t stand sitting on the trolley basket while buying groceries for his needs. My husband and I resolved it by him paying at the cashier while I immediately push the cart out and he kept quiet.
