Fatigue

Work from home
Care my son
Spend time with husband
Spend time and help parents
Lack of spare time
Fatigue body
Loss of concentration
When will this end?

Wishing to connect with others
Switching on the computer
Fall asleep in front of the computer
Before entering
Wordpress
When will this end?

A daily continuum cycle
When will this cycle breaks?
Blockage at every poetry
Muse is neglected
When will this cycle breaks?

During the stated inspirations, everything seems bleak due to late sleeping and unknowingly I am under depression. After I go to the neurology doctor last Friday, I am diagnosed with depression and I reluctantly consume the medication. Though I sleep longer than usual due to the anti-depressant, my concentration level improves. I really thank my parents to care my son whenever I am sleeping. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Freedom & Liberty

Freedom
Liberty
In slavery
In speech
In democracy
In breaking tradition
In breaking law
In our lives

Does freedom in our lives
Brings happiness to us?
Does freedom in law breaking
Cultivate seeds of love or evil?
Does liberty in all things
Cause us to abuse our authority?

Do we use freedom to send love and peace into the world?
Do we use liberty to love one another?
Does freedom protects the earth or abuse it?

What is freedom?
What is liberty?
What is this so called freedom and liberty?

Lazy Cat & Worm

High piling tasks to complete
Someone relaxes without lifting hands
Enjoying giving out commands
For me to do
To do this
To do that
To search this
To search that

Such a simple tasks
Doesn’t bother to lift hands
Always on bed
Cluttering the place
Messing the tidy place
Lazes on bed
Like a lazy worm
Lazy like the cat
Sleeping two thirds of the day
Am I a slave without break?
All tasks seem endless

Terry Shepherd’s poetry dived into my hearts and minds. Her poetry can be found at here and I can understand her feelings to have a break.

Toddler’s Actions List

CRACK!
The cot is damaged!
He almost falls . . .

BANG!
The baby gate falls down!
Just with his two hands . . .

CRASH!
The locked kitchen door breaks!
Thank God, the door doesn’t hit him . . .

Puff! Puff!
Reddish at cheeks are neatly applied!
Oh, my mum let him use hers . . .

CLASH!
The television rack breaks!
His butt landed onto the floor . . .

BUM!
Head knocks onto the door!
He just smiles and walks away . . .

Whoof! Whoof!
He is somersaulting on his cot!
Giving a smile then he grins . . .

SCREECH! SCREECH!
The sofa is pulled out and pushed back!
He does so happily . . .

His strength is as strong as a horse . . .
His strength is as strong as a bull . . .

As I was contemplating my toddler’s action for this year and the list of broken things at home, the above poetry is birthed out.

Egg Breaks

Once I left the kitchen
He entered, grabbed an egg then swiftly
Throw it onto granite floor
Though shell broke, egg yolk still intact
No boiling option, only fried.

When I was preparing for my lunch and left the kitchen to take something from my room, unexpectedly, my toddler entered then grabbed the uncooked and threw it onto the floor. Though broken, my helper picked it up and put it into a red bowl.
