Lazy Cat & Worm

High piling tasks to complete
Someone relaxes without lifting hands
Enjoying giving out commands
For me to do
To do this
To do that
To search this
To search that

Such a simple tasks
Doesn’t bother to lift hands
Always on bed
Cluttering the place
Messing the tidy place
Lazes on bed
Like a lazy worm
Lazy like the cat
Sleeping two thirds of the day
Am I a slave without break?
All tasks seem endless

Terry Shepherd’s poetry dived into my hearts and minds. Her poetry can be found at here and I can understand her feelings to have a break.

Tidy Perfectionist

The more I observe myself
The more I can not understand myself
Why am I on fire?

Cluttering objects on the tables
Vexing my sight, my feeling of displeasure
Compelling my hands to action!

My mind keeps on whirling
Wondering, questioning, and mulling over my sleeplessness
Tidy perfectionist is the answer.

Whenever I see the house is in the mess, I can not stand the mess. Though my toddler and other people who place the stuffs, it is an unbearable sight for me when it is not in proper order. So I often tidy the house in the middle of the night.
