Inspiration On: Wednesday, 28 October 2015 at 9:15pm

Today, I am late by half an hour for the part-time admin job. I thank the Lord and appreciate my supervisor who is so concerned to tell me to leave by 5pm because she doesn’t want me to be locked in the office. Then she gently explain to me to inform her if I have problem reaching office by 8:30am. During performing my duties, I feel so calm and remember my childhood days. Why is my life restarting?

As I observe this world
There is all type of cycle

Cycle of life
From infanthood
to childhood
to teen-hood
to adulthood
to old age
Then return to ashes

Cycle of time
12 o’clock morning to
12 o’clock afternoon
Then back to 12 o’clock morning again

Cycle of days and weeks
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday
Saturday
Sunday
Then back to Monday again

Cycle of months in a year
January
February
March
April
May
June
July
August
September
October
November
December
Then back to January again

The word, “cycle” inspires my observation about the world. This reminded me of Solomon wrote in the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 1 verse 8 to 10.

Creativity

How do you define creativity?
Seems that
It is something done no one ever think of.

Fresh ideas implemented.
As time pass by
It is no longer considered creative.
It is considered norm.
It becomes obsolete.

Another idea keeps on
Popping out and implemented
Then obsolete again.

Just like a mobile phone.
In olden days, there are no such things as mobile phone.
But now, mobile phone is considered common.

Other kinds of new gadgets
Always come and go
The cycle always continues.

This inspiration comes as I compare today’s society with olden days especially during my young times living without mobile phone. The reason to give the title “Creativity” is in my young times, the creation of mobile phone is considered creative. Wherever you go, it is so easy to communicate with people without looking for a telephone booth.
