Help in Balance

The one
Who seek my help
Fiercer than me
Quietly
Lend a helping hand
Care to help

Begin to a new realisation
Such a vicious cycle
An unbreakable pattern

A help cry to pay a bill
Due to overseas and reaching due date
Lending readily out of care
Promise to return it once return
I remind to pay continuous
The recipient demands its way to return

The fire inside me
Demands
Self-respect

The water inside me
Prevents
Fire from spreading like wildfire

The green nature inside me
Keeps
Water and fire in balance

The sunshine inside me
Enable
Cheerfulness despite heartache

I begin to realise about myself. I am questioning myself. Why do people tend to look down on me? Why those who ask for help speak disrespectfully to me? Yet I still care about them. After much thought, I am a people pleaser. Not just that, I also learn that Jesus is the One whom I want to please. The book about asserting myself helps me how to create a healthy boundary. I can still help others with the set aside time. Now I need to earn a living to care for my family and myself. Inside I still want to serve God. Do I overdo it, Lord? Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Hot Cold

Do not drag me into your
Impending fire of judgement

Do not drag me into your
Anticipated burning of fire in hell

Must I
POUR
Cold water into your head?

To wake you up
From your dark sleep?

To lift you up
To see and trust Jesus in the heaven?

A brother in Christ was going through difficult problems with himself and the people around him. A sister in Christ warned me from being dragged by that brother in Christ in terms of spiritual and work. After I stopped myself from busyness and take a walk from the house, God confirmed it through three people and just revealed it to me. This awakened me from being too emotional. That brother in Christ is in need of a spiritual daddy who can guide him in his spiritual walk. Thank God for an uncle willingly to mentor my that brother in Christ. And I am also thankful for his readiness to guide the young. All those tumultuous heart and mind birth the above poetry to tell that brother in Christ. It is to wake him up from his lack of self-worth slumber. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Assumer

Assume! Assume!
More assumptions!
Leading to
Misunderstandings
Cover the whole world.

Two!
Two types of reactions
Towards assumptions.
Either jump to conclusion
Or seek to clarify.

Jumping to conclusion
Without searching the truth
Strife and anger fills the house
A talebearer,
A whisperer,
A backstabber
An accuser
Fire spreads
From houses to neighbourhood
From neighbourhood to cities
From cities to provinces
From provinces to countries.
Unwilling to listen properly
Listen with a filter cover the ears
Believe in a lie
Believe in own false notion.

Seeking clarification
Though assuming
Attempting to remove
Remove the filter from own ears
Thirst for the truth
Immediacy meeting the person
Query the person
Seeking to clarify
Seeking peace
Prevent fire
Extinguish fire.

According to my friend, her mother in law jumped to conclusion and accuses her mother. My friend is very upset. My friend is someone who tends to seek a matter and to clarify her assumption by going to the person directly and ask.

Epic Disaster

Fall into the
SIPPING
Dark hollow cave
Fire of jealousy
Fire of hatred
Disfigures inner heart
Poisons the soul
Devoid of sense
Enters the heart
Devoid of logic
Enters the minds
Terror escalates
Leading oneself to
Succumb to insanity
Succumb to rage
Driven by rage
Driven by jealousy
Darkness emerges out
Leading oneself to
Epic disaster and
Hurting other hearts.

Avoid! Run away
From the SIPPING
Dark hollow cave!
Before losing mind
Before losing heart
Before too late
Too late to
Reverse the path
Reverse the journey.

Boiling Mountain

The mountain is full of boiling larva
It is full of accumulated hurtful words
A pain that is beyond description
The time of explosion hasn’t came
But it is still under control

Suddenly, the final end has come
Being wrongfully accused explodes the mountain
The mountain blasts out
Returning the hurtful words to the speaker

But it is not the end
The deep larva hasn’t came out
It is still there boiling deep inside the core of the mountain.

The mountain choose to stay calm
Not wanting to hurt the speaker
Though she is still in pain

She is waiting for the speaker to dig the core larva
But, he doesn’t seem to care
Doesn’t seem to understand
Doesn’t even to ask why
She is still hoping
Hoping he will do so

Blaming without cause
Wrongfully accused

Those cause the fire mountain to burst out
Then rain downpours the exploded larva
Though it can’t fully calm the larva, which is deep inside the core of the mountain.
