Eat Vegetable

Good
Essential for health
Best to eat

Grab a bite
Yucks!
Bitter!
But . . .
Forcing myself
To gulp vegetables
On my plate

Day by day
Year by year
Live with such taste
But . . .
At my twelfth year
My tongue doesn’t taste
Bitter vegetables

The fresh leafs of vegetables
Reaps delicious taste
Rich feelings of enjoyment
Crushing vegetables with my teeth
Tasting every pieces of it passing by my tongue
Before entering the throat

Upon interacting with Y Prior, Be With Us, Sharmishtha Basu and Toni Andruikitas about their vegetables consumption experiences (at my Body & Stomach Needs poetry), it struck me to tap upon my younger age experiences in vegetables.  It is a memorable event. Thanks to them for bringing out my memories. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Nature vs City Life

Vast lushful greenery forest
Existential are found
On the mountain terrain
Inhaling and exhaling
The cooling fresh atmosphere
This is the place humans miss the most
Before the rise of buildings

Mankind and animals
Dwell among the nature
Planting agriculture for food
Hunting for food
Though practice bartering
No gold, silvers and bronze coins are involved
Everyone live peaceably
Few crimes occur

Do mankind misses all these?
Do mankind trade freedom for money?
Don’t mankind remember responsibility?
Don’t mankind remember nature?

Abusing nature for self-gain
Eradicate nature and mountainous terrain
Explode mountain to pieces
Animals population decrease
Building high rise flats, towers, and roads
In the end
Replicate nature with clay, wax, and chemical
As an excuse to maintain clean road
As an excuse to save money for hiring workers
Machines replace human labour
Causing unemployment

Are mankind doomed to regrets?
No wonder the iceberg melts
No wonder mother earth groans in pain
No wonder animals also groan
No wonder mankind complains stress
No wonder crime rate increases
Are mankind doomed?

Upon waking up for work, train of thoughts echoed in my mind accompanied with strong words “explode mountain to pieces”. I’m missing my wordpress friends. Upon revisiting this repeatedly, the completed day is the end of inspiration.

Wish to Fly

Deep within me
Wish to be free
Free to fly
Fly like a bird

Like the birds flying
Flying to the sky
Flying in the sky
Sipping in fresh air
. . .

Fly! Fly! Fly!

Inspiration On: Wednesday, 8 May 2013 from 4:01am to 4:11am

This began in me with the line, “deep inside of me” as the words flowed out describing my feelings of being locked like a caged bird. Freelance work isn’t smooth. Struggling to get project. My parents returned to home country then back here. To and fro many times limiting me to go out.

Creativity

How do you define creativity?
Seems that
It is something done no one ever think of.

Fresh ideas implemented.
As time pass by
It is no longer considered creative.
It is considered norm.
It becomes obsolete.

Another idea keeps on
Popping out and implemented
Then obsolete again.

Just like a mobile phone.
In olden days, there are no such things as mobile phone.
But now, mobile phone is considered common.

Other kinds of new gadgets
Always come and go
The cycle always continues.

This inspiration comes as I compare today’s society with olden days especially during my young times living without mobile phone. The reason to give the title “Creativity” is in my young times, the creation of mobile phone is considered creative. Wherever you go, it is so easy to communicate with people without looking for a telephone booth.
