Balance Stack Walk

Stack up the play doh buckets.
Brisk into the room elegantly.
Yeah!
I did it!

Plop! Plop! Plop!
The buckets topple.
Aw!
I mess up!

Pick it up again
Stack up again
Yeah!
I did it!

Plop! Plop! Plop!
The buckets topple again.
Aw!
I mess up!

Having fun to balance walking
Bringing play doh buckets stacks.

My toddler enjoys to play ‘play doh’ clay. My house rule is to clean and tidy up after play. For the first time, he chooses to stack up the ‘play doh’ buckets. He wants to learn the circus way of balancing. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Animal Ride

Animal ride is where the
Fun of self control begins to run
Amok and kiss bountiful pre-dangers

Cling! Step on gas! Go!
Twist! Turn! Reckless zigzag! Thrilled with laughter.
Ride time ends and repeat!

Bring my son with my husband to a nearby mall. There are animal rides. Our son is napping so we plan to give him a ride. We discuss this during dinner time. Upon waking up, our son is excited to play so he quickly finishes his meal. Therefore, he joyfully receives his reward bountifully. For the first time, he refuses me to sit behind him. So I walk behind following him running amok and almost crash onto shops. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Cat, Dog & Baby Mouse

Cat
Waits at the mouse’s hole
Waiting to play with the mouse
Makes fun of the mouse
Poke and itch the mouse
Laughter covers the room
Shouts of help fill the house
Cat laughs at baby mouse’s demise

Dog
Labours the baby mouse
Smells the baby mouse
Cares the baby mouse
Plays with baby mouse
Laughter fills the house
Disciplines baby mouse
Guard baby mouse’s wrong actions
Learning as backbone mother

Mouse
Cute ears pop out
Makes fun of cat
Pokes and itch the cat
With a mischievous smile
Pulls the cat’s hairy legs as the cat changes clothing
Runs around the house
Jumps around the house
Taking off clothing to shower
Showing his sexy naked body with a pose
Misbehaviour turns to obedience once dog appears

The cat refers to my husband, dog refers to me, and baby mouse refers to my son. Influenced with the Tom & Jerry cartoon shown by his dad, he keeps on saying he is the mouse, his dad is the cat and I am the dog. Normally, his dad and I notice his cute pop out ears like a mouse’s ears. So I summed up everyone’s perspectives in this poetry. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope you all enjoy this.

Piling Foam Stage

Piling foam numbering pads
He climbs onto it
Treating it as the stage
Melodious songs come out of his tongue
Changing the lyrics of the songs
Making fun of the songs
Bring laughter in everyone’s hearts
Followed by many clapping

Bowing of thankfulness
At the end of his
Singing performance
Standing on the
Piling foam numbering pads
Then step down

After my 39 months son brushed his teeth, he exploded to singing using the piling foam numbering pads as his stage. My parents and I enjoyed his good singing voice.

Springboard

A rubbery board
Waiting for hopper
To hop and bounces up
Giving hopper fun and enjoyment
But only to a certain extent

Avoiding exerting too much force
Exert more force
The more the hopper bounces
But the hopper may hit the ceiling
Or the hopper may landed with accident

Beware of the
Springboard
Use cautiously

The idea of springboard came whenever I remembered the scene in Pingu animation where he jumps on the springboard.

My son enjoys playing this game out of curiosity.

Octopus Baby

Its circle mouth squirts inks
A black ink of liquid to fool
It escapes to protect itself.

Making a circle rounded mouth
Two fingers press cheeks to squirt water
Just for fun and play.

Octopus squirts and toddler squirts
One squirts black liquid, one squirts water
Either enemy’s face or washbasins.

I know the right word for the title is supposed to be ‘Baby Octopus’, but I choose the other way is to explain how octopus squirts and how a toddler squirts. The above stated event at the second paragraph happened during brushing teeth session. My helper and I had a good laugh at that sight. The third paragraph is the comparison between each squirt target.

Pulled by Dog & Toddler

Walk the dog with the dog lace
Enjoying the windy breeze on a park
Passing by a lane
A kitten appears
Appear to poke fun of the dog
Fuming with anger
The dog chases it
It runs and runs
The dog’s master is pulled
Pulled by the
The huge hairy police dog!

Running after
Chasing after
His dad
I’m pulled by him
Him who is
Running after
Chasing after
His dad!

Stern & Wary Look

Snatch!
Snatching something from a pocket!
A lollipop in his right palm.
Dad guffaws
Toddler whimpers with hands on air
Dad returns lollipop
Toddler swiftly drop it
Into his pocket.

Sticking in his right palm
Into his pocket
Stern look
Wary look
To guard
His precious lollipop
As he holds his dad’s big palm with his left palm.

Sticking in his right palm
Into his pocket
Stern look
Wary look
Guarding his precious lollipop
Throughout our journey home
Throughout the journey paths
As we walk home.

In the mall, my husband bought our son two lollipops after our dinner. My toddler gave one lollipop to me then he kept the last one to himself. His dad asked him for his portion. My son asked back the lollipop from me. But his dad didn’t want and chose to pick his portion. He made fun of our son causing him to whimper wanting his lollipop back. The second circumstance occurred until we reached home.
