Slip Trip

I slip
I trip

Avoiding splashes from running vehicles
Lightning flashes bomb me with fear

Paralyze my movement
Tantalize my breathing speed

Mind blanks out
Find heartbeat escalate

See the bus shelter
Bee hides under it

Rushing towards my destination
Dashing pass the trees

Almost fall into the drain
Within one feet distance
Rubber shoes stop me
Straining toes heavily to the ground

The black yellow bee seems grinning
Upheaval embarrassment is blushing my face

And the bus comes waving goodbye to the bee
As the bee slips its tiny feet against the wet pole
Knocks and trips onto the wet ground

It was raining heavily and observing the raindrops on the road. Afraid of tripping myself, I walked slowly towards the bus stop. This experience births out the rhyming words, let my imagination runs wild and playing with English words in my vocabulary memory.

Artists in Zoo

Arts exhibition to spread message via form showcase
Content injected into artistic form
An array of visual media messages inhibited a spacious room
Display and speaks the
Past, present, and prophesied future
Own fantasy
Own imagination
Own needs
Own wish
Of tomorrow

All these put the artist in a spotlight
Beasts reluctantly lose their freedom
To spotlight in the cages of zoo
To spotlight in the circus performance
Stage and props are a cage of zoo
Artists willingly stand on the stage
To gain famous
To earn livelihood
Living another character in them

Arts gallery
Cinema
Theatre
Exhibition gallery
Television
Is where the artists are
Artists in zoo
Exhibited zoo
To entertain spectators and audience

Broken but Regained Hope

I
Vast sparkly waves of ocean
As the sun shines onto the ocean
Vastness of ocean increases more

II
Final beautiful sight in mind
Gradually sink into the bottom ocean seabed
Eyelids close, sealing own fate

III
Blur sight of a swimmer
Before losing consciousness in the ocean depth
Everyone flashes back in memories

IV
Awaking to the soothing music
Among two smiling patients on hospital beds
Hopes re-live in his heart

V
A man dressed in white
Listens to poured out woes and pats
When other patients go outdoor

VI
Encourages her to be strong
Sowing a strength to own beloved friend
In times of tumultuous life

VII
Seeds of love and care
Gradually buds forth in her broken heart
Living filled with hope again

This image had been appearing in my friend’s mind to part III so I expressed it in haiku and continues it.

Tongue’s Traffic Light

Red light appears
Brake tongue pedestal
Time to keep quiet
Red light dispels

Orange light appears
Slight brake tongue
Time to warn confidant
Orange light disappears

Green light appears
Running tongue
Ticking with certain time
Short period to express words
Before green light hides

Return to orange light
Back to red light

The idea of keeping our mouths quiet at a period of time prevents us from coming trouble. And the time to warn those who needs warning and when to say out our opinions. Traffic light seems that the best analogy and metaphor. Upon writing it down, the above poetry flowed out of my imagination.

Fly Infinitely

Words are jumping around
Words pop out
Flying words pass by

The seeds of Words
The seeds of faith
Birth out
More words juice out of
The fruits of
The seeds of words
Playing
Echoing
In my heart and mind
As I
Fly with words of poetry
Dabble in words of poetry
Play with words of poetry
Fly in the clouds of poetry

Fly . . . in . . . the midst of
Poetry
Fly . . . Fly . . . Fly . . . in
My Lord Jesus Christ
Fly . . . Fly . . . Fly . . . in
Living the Bible
Fly . . . Fly . . . Fly . . . in
Observations
Fly . . . Fly . . . Fly . . . in
The Truth
Fly . . . Fly . . . Fly . . . in
Muse
Fly . . . Fly . . . Fly . . . in
Analysis
Fly . . . Fly . . . Fly . . . in
Living in this life

Fly . . . Fly . . . Fly
Flutter . . . Flutter . . . Flutter
Infinitely

The image of me flying in the midst of the clouds of poetry gave me the sense of freedom of expressions and release of emotions.

Serene in the Crowd

Serene
Dwelling in quietness
Amidst the crowd
No lonely feeling
Peaceful feeling instead
When

Riding
Planes
Automobiles
Trains

The time to enjoy
The ride
The scenery
My observation
The rest in my heart and mind
Eyes are at rest with the scenery
Relax feeling
Lost in music from Walkman in my ear
Losing myself in imagination

Dave Cave

Where is Dave?
There in a cave

Dave is in the
Cave playing with bats

Bats swirl around Dave as their
Fats touch Dave’s skin

This chill Dave to freak out
Abruptly fill the cave with shriek

Randomly throws fruits
Messing the cave with star fruits

Bats dart towards the fallen fruits
One by one left Dave for star fruits

A lone ranger
Alone in the corner

Dave feels safe to
Save own life

Dash toward exit
Rush forward swiftly

Quickly return home
Gaspingly report to mother

Fearful of bats
Cave full of fruits

When I thought the name of “Dave”, it rhymes with “cave”. Then my imagination began to run wild.

Stuck

Fear drives me
Driving me nuts
Driving me crazy

Run! Run! Run!
Running across the forest
Run! Run! Run!
Running across the bushes

Screech!!
Feet stop!
At the end of the
Cliff
There lies

An                  Valley

Infinite    Dark

deep

Jump?!
Jump into the valley?
Or
Be engulfed?
Be killed?
. . . . . . . . .

My thirty five months son was driving me to anger by his attitude and behaviour. Seems that my mother spoilt him too much. My relative’s six years old daughter spoke in a rude tone. My son likes her a lot so recently he copied such attitude. Oh! I’m in my wits end.

Unexpectedly, “Driving me nuts. Driving me crazy” carried me into the imagination of a young lady being chased in the forest then she was stuck at the cliff.

The Secret

The wisp in the wallow
The way of fishes swim
The way of a fisherman
The secret of mankind
The pain residing in the heart
The secret of heart
The secret of pain

Do you know me?
Do you care about me?
Do you know me?
You don’t even know me
You don’t even care about me
The real me
Hiding behind the mask
Behind the smiling mask

A long hair lady sits at the opened window. Eyes glistened with tears. This picture came to my mind as I attempted to understand those who committed suicide. Words echoed in me, “The wisp in the wallow
Do you know me?
Do you know me?
You don’t even know me
The real me”. As I took this further, more words flowed out and echoed to me many times.

The Sun

A well loved bright sky with children play together on the greenery scent of grasses. Grass breeze through the ankles as every feet stomp onto the grasses. Their voices are thrilled with the windy day and the birds on the branches of the trees chirp gladly. Such a nice day for them as they rest on the grasses enjoying

A perfect bright shiny sphere
Shining brightly in the vast blue sky
Cover the dark with light
