In the visual artists’ vocabulary
Image is a language in their minds
To produce tangible visual artworks.

Visual people remember events through
Pictures, photos, mental snapshots through the eyes
Into the brain’s memory banks.

“Visual language” came to my mind when I want to express the above haiku. Slowly, the right words flowed out as I revised it the second time.

Fried Rice & Languages

Garlic, and Carrot
Into the wok.
Then stir and stir.
Cooked rice
Then stir and stir.
Tomato, and cucumber
Then stir and stir.
Green leafy vegetable,
Minced meat, and soya sauce
Then stir and stir.
Above ingredients resulted to fried rice.

A language keyword
Into the sentences.
Another language keyword
Into the last word of a sentence.
Them stir and stir.
Three languages in a sentence,
Resulting fried languages.
Resulting trilingual.

As I observed my toddler who spoke three languages at the same time, I relate it to fried rice.
