Some people talk too much, but not a doer. Recently, I met one. I do feel upset and keeps quiet. Commanding me to do instead of showing it to me by example. Afterward, she just lazed around. I bring this to my Lord and seek Him to enable me to forgive, be patient, and His wisdom to return the tasks to her gently. My family have the tendency to live by example rather than talking. So I dislike those who talk too much and do nothing. Such experience birthed out this poetry.

Attempting Mouth Kissing

Two hands
Fingers of both hands
Are
Clasping
Holding tightly
Wringing
Around her neck
With his legs clasp her waist.

Attempting to
Go near her face.
Attempting to
Kiss her mouth.
Where she holds him further
Attempting to
To prevent him
To prevent his rounded lips
From kissing her mouth.

Door creaks
Door opens
Fingers loosens grip
With failed attempt
Mission fails!
Quietly learn from rebuke.
While she gasps for breathe
Speaks such a strong grasp.

Days pass,
He resolves
He answers
He wants
To have a wife.
Laughter burst out
Amused of speech.
He laughs ear to ear.

A few days ago, my son was trying to kiss the helper’s mouth by holding her neck. She told me what happened when I was in the room for a while. I understand that he was curious about kissing though normally he kisses his soft toys. But I guided him not to do mouth kissing towards anyone and even his helper.

Lip Gloss

A slight opened door tempts
Him to dash into the dark room
Grabbing lip gloss from drawer
Pluck out lip gloss’ cover
Swiftly, he digs the inside out
Apply it onto his lips
Satisfied with his shining lips
Leaving irregular awful shape inside lip gloss
SPANK!
A spank from his father

“Pluck out the lip gloss”, suddenly came to my mind and I remembered the day when my toddler ran onto the drawer beside my bed. Without a second, he grabbed my moisturizing lip gloss and made a big mess out of it upon applying it onto his lips. So my husband gave his beloved toddler a spank at his butt.
