Impossible Providence

In the midst of uncertainty
Impossible to meet my need
Everything is stripped away
Only faith and trust in my Lord remains
Entered the train with disappointment

But . . .
Two empty seats?
Nobody occupies?

I see God’s providence for my need
No matter how little it seems
It is the most needed part
Praise God
Praise His holy Name

While I was going to my new workplace for a certain event, the train seemed full. Oh, the long journey will be tiring. Unexpectedly, there were two empty seats. Nobody bothered to take the seat. Really thank God for the needed rest for my long journey. Because I have muscle-ache problem. My shoulder is the most essential as it may lead to my worsened migraine.

Little Manager

Dry your hair.
Sit here.
Play with me.

Take this.
For you.

Mum carries the groceries;
Dad carries me.

[Offering Grand-Uncle a cup of tea]
[Waited for him to finish sipping]
[Wear him his cap then wear mine]
Please accompany me to playground.

[Pull uncle’s hand]
Sit on the floor.
Let’s play Lego.

During dinner, my toddler told me to dry my hair because of wet hair after shower. Knowing my limitation not being able to carry him, he suggested me to carry the groceries so that his dad can carry him. My husband answered him that his hands were full while I held his hand. My cousin who stayed a few nights in my house were requested to accompany him to play and even bring his playground. The above inspirations are written from his voice and point of view.

Cute Dog Pee Stance

Body facing backward towards the television rack
Pulling legs apart similar to a dog pee stance
With his right foot touches the cover
The cover of the television rack
Slowly, his foot closes it
Everyone’s eyes pop out
But turns to
Amazement,
Awe,
Cheers, and
End in applause.

Upon returning home from a workshop class held in the library, my mother and helper informed me about my toddler’s actions. My helper laughingly showed the way he acted. My parents are laughing as they re-told his cute and funny stances. These reminded me the previous day I closed the cover of the┬átelevision rack with my right foot though facing forward. Unexpectedly, my toddler mimicked my actions in an extreme way due to his various experiences. When he was much younger, he saw a puppy’s stance to pee whenever my husband and I brought him out for a walk.

Upon imagining these things in my mind, the above inspiration was birthed out as I kept on revising it continuously. I’m amazed by the little boy God has blessed me with. Unknowingly, many of his little actions give me inspirations.
