I need milk!

My helper brought the soluble milk bottle into my room. My toddler’s eyes sparkle. My son loves and like milk. Without milk, he can’t sleep. This is the regular routine. Surprisingly, rhythmic words birth out.

Kick The Air

At the kitchen
Kick the air
Sandals fly
Landed onto
Table

On the bed
Kick the pillow
Pillow flies over
Landed onto
Grandma’s face

At the living room
Kick the air
Shoes fly over
Landed onto
Poor crying floor

Kick the air
Kick the air
Kick and kick

My son loves in my mother’s room. Nowadays, he tends to kick the air to remove his shoes and sandals. While he was drinking milk on her bed, he kicked the pillow and it fell onto his grandma’s face.

Midnight Hunger

Restless on bed
Growls
He requests for more
More milk

Scoop the milk powder
Drop it into milk bottle
Close it tightly
Shake! Shake!
Dissolving milk powder with water
Suddenly
Creak!
Bam!

My head stuck out of kitchen door
Nobody is there
Who?
My son?

Carry the milk bottle
Plucking the nipple into his
Hungry mouth
Interrogate who plays door
Nod nod
Confess during
Glug glug
Drinking his milk hungrily
Replying his impatience

Finish drinking milk
Letting go the milk bottle to me
Droopy eyes
Drink water and
Dozes off to dreamland

My toddler requested to have another round of milk because his stomach growled. While I was shaking the milk bottle, suddenly my room door creak and bam. Sticking my head out, nobody was there. Upon entering my room and plucking the milk bottle to him, I gently asked him the one who opened and closed the door. Nodding while drinking his milk, he confessed. Huh? I do wonder the reason for him doing so. Probing it to know he was being impatient. After his milk, he dozed off easily.

Swollen Bite Culprit

Finally
Finally
Finally, the culprit is known
Swollen ants’ bites
Is caused
Is caused by
Him.
Too fast to stop!
Pluck out his milk bottle
A drop from the teat
He wipe it onto
His pillow.
No wonder
No wonder
Attract the ants.

My son had seven bites on his legs. At first, his leg was itchy and he caught an ant on the floor. I thought the ant had bitten him from the floor. Shockingly, his doings was clear in front of me as described in the above poem.

Shopping Toddler Again

He grabs the handle
Then he pulls up
The shopping basket.

Grabbing and throw
A pack of vegetables
Into the shopping basket.

Picking up tea pack
Dropping into the basket.
Too heavy. . .
Pick and put it back.

Grabbing an apple
Sniff at it
Drop it into the basket.
Copying me when I smell oranges.

Picking up a box of biscuit
Throws it into the basket.

Leading his dad to fish section
Wanting to buy fishes,
No fishes.
Wanting crab, but
Afraid of it.

A pack of milk
A cute cow on it
Attracts him.
Too heavy!
He grabs it and
He is going to drop
Into his trolley’s basket.
I panicked, “Need to pay first!”
His dad puts it back.

While queuing for cashier
He drops in . . .
A box of ferrero Rocher chocolate.

Why? Why?
Why does he knows . . .
It is a chocolate?
Oh! The advertisement!

When my husband and I brought our toddler to the supermarket where I need to buy some groceries, our toddler gave us a surprise to lead the shopping.

我 I

啊,奶茶跌了
这么会日日呢?

我裤子甜甜
我衣服咸咸

难怪我会觉得冷冷
难怪我会觉得日日

我裤子甜甜
我衣服咸咸

等下蚂蚁会找我哦!

Milk tea topples
How come I feel warm?

My trouser is sweet
My shirt is salty

No wonder I feel cold
No wonder I feel warm

My trouser is sweet
My shirt is salty

Later, the ants will approach me!
Later, the ants will be all over me!

After bring my baby for a walk in the evening, I bought milk tea while my husband waited for me on a table with groceries on top of it and he was carrying our baby. Upon returning to the table, I accidentally topple the milk tea on the table and splashed onto my husband’s trouser. We quickly returned home and suddenly, he felt warm at his shirt and requested me to see his outfit. Indeed, it was wet with baby’s urine leaked out of the diaper because the diaper is full.

Upon reaching our flat, he uttered, “我裤子甜甜,我衣服咸咸” before he went for shower. These words resonated in my mind and heart. As I put myself in his shoes, the above inspiration came at night. At the last paragraph, some words are increased gradually to imply the feeling of nervousness that something is going to happen.
