Everyone has escalating demands
Now! Now!

Laundry shouts at me
Wash! Spin! Dry! Hang!

Computer seeks my attention
Beep! Beep!

Emails are calling out to me
Open ME! Read ME!

Child also seek immediate attention
Play with ME! Accompany ME!

Husband expects more
Manage the household! Manage others!

Parents expect serving them
Give immediate help

In laws expect control over me
Jobs providence come

Freelance work client seeks attention
Put client the first

Self-expectation desire to excel in life
Fall short of all

Life’s workload bogs me down
Losing self

True friends come into my life
Angels lift me up

Confusion is cleared
See with more clarity

Discernment enters
Empathy increases

Agree to disagree
Learn to speak indirectly

It began with the first third and eleventh stanza. As I return back to revise further, I pour out more of my overwhelming feelings. Thus the title change from “Life’s workload bogs me down” to “Life’s demands and expectations”. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Upon returning home from my son’s graduation, I give him shower and pet him to take nap. So I read to him. Then he requests me to sing him to sleep. Although he knows I sing out of tune, he guides me how to sing. Thus the above song is birthed out and sing to him with my own melody. Finally, I ask my husband to sing to him. Stack up the play doh buckets.
Brisk into the room elegantly.
Yeah!
I did it!

Plop! Plop! Plop!
The buckets topple.
Aw!
I mess up!

Pick it up again
Stack up again

The buckets topple again.

Having fun to balance walking
Bringing play doh buckets stacks.

My toddler enjoys to play ‘play doh’ clay. My house rule is to clean and tidy up after play. For the first time, he chooses to stack up the ‘play doh’ buckets. He wants to learn the circus way of balancing. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Dorayaki Chases

Eyes
Mouth
Hands
Legs
Erupt out of dorayaki

Noticing a toddler
With an evil hungry look
Dorayaki chases after him
He is startled
As it approaches him
STOP!!!
He shrieked

Dorayaki freezes
Abruptly, he
Gulps
Munches
The whole dorayaki

A Dorayaki chased after him and going to gulp him. Wriggling in fear, he shouted in fear, “STOP!!!” The Dorayaki froze. And the position reversed. It was his turn to eat and munch the frozen Dorayaki. This happened during midnight as my toddler cried in his sleep and shouted in his sleep, “STOP!!!” Then he calmed down and continued his sleep. His dad went near him as I was soundly asleep due to anti-depressants. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Fatigue

During the stated inspirations, everything seems bleak due to late sleeping and unknowingly I am under depression. After I go to the neurology doctor last Friday, I am diagnosed with depression and I reluctantly consume the medication. Though I sleep longer than usual due to the anti-depressant, my concentration level improves. I really thank my parents to care my son whenever I am sleeping. Animal Ride

Animal ride is where the
Fun of self control begins to run
Amok and kiss bountiful pre-dangers

Cling! Step on gas! Go!
Twist! Turn! Reckless zigzag! Thrilled with laughter.
Ride time ends and repeat!

Bring my son with my husband to a nearby mall. There are animal rides. Our son is napping so we plan to give him a ride. We discuss this during dinner time. Upon waking up, our son is excited to play so he quickly finishes his meal. Therefore, he joyfully receives his reward bountifully. For the first time, he refuses me to sit behind him. So I walk behind following him running amok and almost crash onto shops. Wish you all have good days and thank you.
