Balance Stack Walk

Stack up the play doh buckets.
Brisk into the room elegantly.
Yeah!
I did it!

Plop! Plop! Plop!
The buckets topple.
Aw!
I mess up!

Pick it up again
Stack up again
Yeah!
I did it!

Plop! Plop! Plop!
The buckets topple again.
Aw!
I mess up!

Having fun to balance walking
Bringing play doh buckets stacks.

My toddler enjoys to play ‘play doh’ clay. My house rule is to clean and tidy up after play. For the first time, he chooses to stack up the ‘play doh’ buckets. He wants to learn the circus way of balancing. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Purposely tear tiny crumbs of
Banana cakes onto the table for ants

Filled with compassion to see the spying ants looking for food, my four years six months toddler tore crumbs of banana cakes onto the table. Upon understanding his feelings, I feel so glad and happy. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

During attending a talk, the speaker introduced about the Six Word Submission at SmithMag.net and gave the participants papers to write their own six words about life. The above birthed out of my own life experience. Do participate in its creative ways to describe about lives and other stuffs. Enjoy.

Midnight Hunger

Restless on bed
Growls
He requests for more
More milk

Scoop the milk powder
Drop it into milk bottle
Close it tightly
Shake! Shake!
Dissolving milk powder with water
Suddenly
Creak!
Bam!

My head stuck out of kitchen door
Nobody is there
Who?
My son?

Carry the milk bottle
Plucking the nipple into his
Hungry mouth
Interrogate who plays door
Nod nod
Confess during
Glug glug
Drinking his milk hungrily
Replying his impatience

Finish drinking milk
Letting go the milk bottle to me
Droopy eyes
Drink water and
Dozes off to dreamland

My toddler requested to have another round of milk because his stomach growled. While I was shaking the milk bottle, suddenly my room door creak and bam. Sticking my head out, nobody was there. Upon entering my room and plucking the milk bottle to him, I gently asked him the one who opened and closed the door. Nodding while drinking his milk, he confessed. Huh? I do wonder the reason for him doing so. Probing it to know he was being impatient. After his milk, he dozed off easily.

Two Wild Kittens

Two wild kittens
TEAR
Wrapping paper
Out of the
Large gift box
Shouting joyfully
Messing the floor
With
Torn pieces of paper
Scattered on the floor
Picking up the torn paper
One by one
Throwing it into trash bag

Assembling the toys
Seeking help to assemble
The kitchen set
Two kittens play heartily

Embarking On

Embarking on
A dangerous quest
A dangerous journey
Into
A dark heinous cave.

Outside the cave
Six black crows gawk
Standing on the wire pole
An ominous sign
Fear creeps in
Palm perspires
Racing heartbeats
Thumping heartbeats
Panic arise
Questioning
“Should I continue?”
“Should I enter?”

Seconds . . .
Minutes . . .
Hours . . .
Have passed.
Gathering courage
To enter
A dark heinous cave
Full of cobwebs
Full of bats
Full of booby traps.

Passing through
Those dangerous traps
And see
A bright and shiny
Gold coins.
Carefully and slowly
Execute the procedures
As stated in the book.

Then
Passing through
Those dangerous traps again.
Leaving the
Dark heinous cave
As the
Six black shiny crows
Standing
Looking at
The black passing shadow
The shadow of the
Anonymous man.
