Preserve Conserve Protect
To prevent
Annihilation
Trapped within limited space
Enclosed in the zoo
Awaiting as an exhibit
Feeling entrapped
Without
Worry of food
Freedom is lost
Exploring and enjoying
The wild life

During my visit to the zoo with my family, I observe the animals that are brink to extinction. They are like exhibitions and I can feel the feelings of entrapment. Even I do not like the feeling of being trapped. This poetry is based on my observation and own experience of being trapped. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

I once went to Kolkata Zoo in summer and it was a ghastly sight to see those poor animals in that concreted place, imprisoned, gasping for relief! boy! if you go there once you wont go twice!

they were planning to do something, the good thing was a lot of celebs adopted the animals, I wonder if they are taking care of their adopted babies that cant even say when they are starving/being abused!
Make sense. I hope the animals are well fed and have social life.

I remember a tiger pacing and pacing in a 6×20 cage. It looked about to go stark raving mad.

The things people do to ‘preserve’ what they have already destroyed..
That has been my observations.
Lovely poem! I feel very sorry and sad too. Hope one day this will change and animals also have their own freedom to live where they belong not in (prisons) places to attract people to make money.
