Pie Pit

Throw me into the pit
Where I can create my pie

Give me the pit of well
How to produce the pie of focus

Pit is where I put in time to focus
Pie is where I put in effort without distraction

Pit of well is a space without distraction
Pie is the final result of many efforts

Enter into the focused pit of well
Work towards the pie of focus

Check the pit before jumping into the well
Prevent unnecessary pie from being produced

Prevent mind block
Reduce the stress level

Pit of
Environment and Space to pour Time and thought

Pie of
Enthusiastic Energy of Efforts

“Put in time and effort” are the words I need to take action on. However, there is a sudden inspiration to find its acronym. Thus PIT and PIE birth out. I liken PIT into a well and space. Because I realise that I need the space and environment to focus on the work I need to do. Environment plays a huge role on my focus. Thus I put many efforts at home, the potential and abilities that God blesses me can’t flourish. PIE I’d liken to a pie where many ingredients are mixed together to produce a pie. Thus playing the different alphabets from PIT and PIE can be a tremendous and interesting result. Wish you all have good days and thank you.

Stuck

Fear drives me
Driving me nuts
Driving me crazy

Run! Run! Run!
Running across the forest
Run! Run! Run!
Running across the bushes

Screech!!
Feet stop!
At the end of the
Cliff
There lies

An                  Valley

Infinite    Dark

deep

Jump?!
Jump into the valley?
Or
Be engulfed?
Be killed?
. . . . . . . . .

My thirty five months son was driving me to anger by his attitude and behaviour. Seems that my mother spoilt him too much. My relative’s six years old daughter spoke in a rude tone. My son likes her a lot so recently he copied such attitude. Oh! I’m in my wits end.

Unexpectedly, “Driving me nuts. Driving me crazy” carried me into the imagination of a young lady being chased in the forest then she was stuck at the cliff.

These are temporary

Once one is a Grown Up

Two weeks ago, my husband and I were discussing about our son’s feeding. Our son disliked certain food such as egg, vegetables and seafood. His idea of food consumption is like a pyramid triangle. Lesser food range choice as he grows older. But I disagreed where the pyramid triangle is the opposite. More food range will be consumed as he grows older. My siblings and I are a good example. Vegetables are disliked during our young times, but now we like to eat it.

Digging a deep pit.

Digging a deep hole.

Flattening the soil.

Wagging its tail
Then left the soil.

The triangle house
And play
With us.

This is the fourth series about my stray pet ‘Melvin’ who is mentioned in my previous poetry. One day, I happened to spot it digging the soil and poo outside my uncle’s house.
